BIOGRAPHY

Qantas Socceroos

Fearless goalkeeper who has made a name for himself both for his penalty shoot–out heroics against Uruguay and his consistent displays for Middlesbrough and Fulham in the English Premier League for the past decade.

He is an excellent shot–stopper, especially at close range, and is also valued for his consistency. His displays throughout ten years at Middlesbrough consistently earned him rave reviews and since joining Fulham two years ago is now considered one of the best keepers in the English Premier League.

Has progressed through the ranks as an international goalkeeper, starting with the Under 17 team and then the Under 20s. After over a decade at Middlesbrough, joined EPL rival Fulham Athletic in 2008 on a two-year deal.

Became the most capped Australian goalkeeper during 2008 and continued to set numerous records for his country during the 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign. He's now the most capped Socceroo of all time
