BIOGRAPHY

Qantas Socceroos

Exciting young attacking midfielder, who can also play as a striker. Emerged as a young player with Queensland Roar in the initial years of the Hyundai A-League, before his undoubted talents took him overseas where he was signed by ambitious German side FC Nurnberg, who also had Michael Beauchamp and Matt Spiranovic on its books at the time.

Played in the Qantas Young Socceroos and Qantas Under 23s team, but missed out on a place in the final squad for the Olympic Games in 2008 and there was some talk that he may play his international career with Croatia, the country of his birth.

His second season with Nurnberg saw the club win promotion back to the Bundesliga, with Vidosic scoring some crucial late season goals.

Made his international debut for Australia, coming on as a late sub in the final 2010 World Cup qualifier against Japan. Moved to MSV Duisburg on loan in January 2010 and that helped him force his way into World Cup calculations.
